God Rescued Me

God Rescued Me is a song about being saved, beginning something new. This song is powerful for me because of where I was in my life at the time that I wrote it. I was just coming out of  a dark depression when the lyrics came to me. I was sitting at a football game in October writing the lyrics into my phone. Words that I have never heard before that described how I felt filled the song. It was like my eyes were finally opened.
